It was the end of another world meeting.
Canada was walking down the hall with his brother, America chattering beside him.
Canada didn't seem to be listening to America or notice other countries he accidentally walked into.
He was a bit on edge.
"BRO!" came America's yell right in his ear.
"Wh-what Alfred?" Canada replied quickly, violet eyes wide as if he had been caught doing something he wasn't suppose to do.
"You okay? You seem a bit out of it."
"Ve, Germany wait for me!" came Italy's loud yell.
Canada looked up to see Italy had run over to an upset Germany.
"What'sa wrong, Ludwig?"
"Feliciano, have you seen my bruder anyvhere?"
Italy shook his head.
"Dammit..." Germany grumbled under his breath.
"Hey Ludwig, what's wrong?" America called.
"Gilbert has gone missing." Germany replied.
France and Spain both froze up having heard as they approached Canada and America.
"Gilberto has gone missing?" Spain repeated, his green eyes wide.
"Zhis iz terrible! How did zhis happen, Germany?" France said, panicking at the thought of his missing friend.
"I don't know!" Germany screamed at the top of his lungs, startling the Italian beside him.
As the crowd grew bigger with more worried countries, no one noticed as Canada purposely faded into the background and snuck away.
Until America looked over at where Canada had been standing and saw he had disappeared.
"Matt?" he called, glancing back and forth.
Canada raced back to his home, racing up the steps of the front porch.
Quickly unlocking the door and leaping inside before anyone noticed he was there.
He quickly bolted the door shut, having gotten two extra locks.
His white bear, Kumajiro popped up from a basket.
"What's wrong with you?" the bear called.
"They finally noticed he was missing...merde." Canada replied as he went around his house, shutting the blinds and curtains and locking every last window.
Canada finally calmed down and glanced down at Kumajiro.
"Has he been good today, Kuma?" Canada asked.
"He hasn't made a noise so I wouldn't know." Kumajiro replied. "Also who are you?"
Canada sighed as he went up the stairs to his room.
As he opened the door, he could hear whining coming from a corner of his room.
Canada made his way to the corner, which held a makeshift crib.
He leaned down over the crib.
"Hey there. Sorry I left you for so long." Canada said, lowering a hand to the crib and feeling a small hand wrap its small fingers around Canada's index finger.
Canada lifted up the small baby into his arms.
The baby was pale with blood red eyes and messy silver colored hair.
He wore an over sized white gown.
He was currently giving Canada a big grin.
Canada rocked back and forth, holding the baby in his arms.
"Sorry this had to happen to you, Gilbert. I didn't realize you'd become so little just because of how small the New Prussia town is."
The red eyed baby stared up at Canada and smiled.
"Bababababa." he babbled, drool running down his chin.
Canada smiled, wiping the drool off with a tissue.
"Don't worry Gil, I'll figure out a way to fix this, okay? I love you~"
The little Prussia gave a little giggle that sounded remotely like, "Ksesese."
